7 Healthy Things to Do in Indy This Weekend

We can’t believe that it’s already the end of July and we’ve experienced the full heat of summer. It’s been hot and then really! The best part of summer is all the outdoor activities happening all over the city. Here are seven ways to get moving this weekend.

Muddy Princess 

The Muddy Princess is an outdoor 5K (3.1 miles) obstacle mud run for women – and women ONLY! It’s for Princesses of all sizes, ages and fitness levels. They don’t focus on the fastest times or competitions, but focus on fun! Iron Eagle Paddle & Run

The Eagle Creek Park Foundation has adopted the Iron Eagle Paddle and Run as its primary fundraiser to showcase the natural beauty of the park and all it has to offer, especially for athletes. This one-of-a-kind race takes you on an adventure through one of the nation’s largest city parks by alternating between trail runs and a kayak or canoe leg on the reservoir. Barre & Brews

We are back at Field Brewing for Barre & Brews! Join us in Westfield on Saturday, July 27th at 10 am. Experience our full body workout that will challenge your muscles and mindset. This is a 45-minute class focused on tightening your tush, firming your thighs, and creating a rock-solid core. Don’t miss out on all this muscle-shaking goodness. Following the class, stick around and enjoy a brew. This includes either a coffee beverage or a pint of beer. Stretch your limbs and realign mind, body, and spirit while surrounded by inspiring art and nature with Yoga at Newfields. Doggie Yoga

Love yoga, craft beer, and adorable dogs? Join Metazoa Brewing Co., Helping Paws Indy, and our yoga instructor, Dawn, for Doggy Yoga class on Saturday, May 18th Bring your own mat and get ready to cuddle adorable and adoptable dogs. Yoga on the Beach on the Farm
