29th Annual Shamrock Run & Walk

Calling all runners and walkers! The Athletic Club Foundation and the Indianapolis Firefighters Emerald Society are partnering together to host the 2020 Shamrock Run & Walk. The 4-mile run or walk kicks off at Noon and is perfect for all individuals, families, and pet lovers.

Big Ten Circuit on the Circle

The Big Ten and Indiana Sports Corp, in partnership with November Project Indy and Shred415, will host an outdoor circuit workout on Monument Circle. This event is open to all ages and fitness levels. Participants are encouraged to wear their favorite Big Ten team’s gear and can enjoy Sun King and Circle Kombucha as part of the event.

Dance Church™ FIELD TRIP

Dance Church™ is an all-abilities movement class that offers a fun and inclusive approach to dancing. Designed for people of all shapes, and sizes, backgrounds, and identities, Dance Church™ is a communal space for people who want to move their bodies. The teacher leads a 90-minute class in a series of movement cues, accompanied by a curated playlist of multi-genre pop music. The format is open but guided throughout.

Deep Relaxation

Led by CITYOGA School of Yoga and Health, this long guided meditation will use somatic breath-work, gentle restorative postures with Thai inspired touch and aromatherapy. Instructor Adrienne will guide students back to their true nature, where one can function with more ease from the heart-space. This workshop is for all levels.

No Luck Irish Run 2020

The No Luck Irish Run returns this weekend, March 15, 2020, kicks off at 8:30 a.m. This race offers a Half Marathon, 5k, and Kid’s Dash-a distance for all abilities and ages! All athletes will receive a comfy locally, printed “No Luck Irish Run” t-shirt. Not only will you have a blast running with hundreds of Leprechauns through the streets of Plainfield, but participants will also receive a No Luck Irish Run Finisher Medal and finisher beer.

Kid’s Yoga at kOMpose

This kid’s yoga class will focus on sharing yoga and meditation with children ages 5-10!  Amy, a certified kids teacher, will use music, games, storytelling, and other activities to help children focus their minds and stretch their bodies, all while having loads of fun. Yoga for kids can help build confidence, body awareness, and focus on the breath as a tool for centering.

Pilates Mat at Upland

Join Era Pilates for a 55-minute class at Upland Brewery in Fountain Square. The class will focus on moving the spine in different planes to increase flexibility, strength, control, and proper alignment. Guests will enjoy a complimentary free house beer or kombucha from Upland at the end of class. This event is BYOM (bring your own mat) and will start promptly at 10 a.m.

ChoreoBlitz Hip Hop Dance Class

This is a Hip hop/Urban Dance workshop taught by Sirlimitless This is an Urban dance class designed to challenge those who are looking to step outside of their regular dance style. Each class will consist of a warm-up, technique explanations for the routine ahead, and a combination to be taught during the last half of the class.
