If you’re looking to turn your coronavirus quarantine or social distancing efforts into a spring training session, fitness-tech company Peloton is offering a free 90-day trial subscription to its home-workout app — no stationary bike needed.
The company announced this offer following the decision to shut down all of its retail showrooms until March 29 due to COVID0-19. The company says it will continue to produce and live stream classes, but only for members.
However, new members can enjoy 90-days free, and you don’t need a Peloton-branded bike or treadmill. Users will be able to choose from a variety of classes such as yoga, meditation, strength training, and more.
Peloton is known for its popular high-tech cycling platform and has built a bonafide fitness phenomenon by creating a connected community through fitness. Peloton recently opened its first Indiana showroom at the Fashion Mall at Keystone, which specializes in premium fitness bikes and treadmills.
We’re not sure how long this pandemic will last, but this may not be the best time to invest in high-quality fitness equipment for some. But, if you’ve always wanted a fancy piece of equipment, it will set you back $1,995 for the bike or $4,000 for the treadmill. Not to mention an additional $39 flat monthly subscription – just a little more than a boutique fitness class typically costs. This $39 monthly subscription offers members access to the company’s live and on-demand fitness classes.
