Mindbody Launches Virtual Wellness Platform To Support Fitness Studios

Mindbody is one of the leading technology platforms in the wellness industry, providing seamless solutions for both consumers and local businesses. Recently, Mindbody has launched a virtual wellness platform dedicated to helping local fitness, beauty, and wellness companies operate, market, and flourish, especially during the coronavirus pandemic.

With the new release of Mindbody’s Virtual Wellness Platform, businesses will be able to upload pre-recorded videos and share them directly with their customers via direct and secure links. This platform is free, during its beta phase, for those operating their businesses through Mindbody.

The new platform removes the need for third-party video solutions and applications. Rather than sharing virtual content via Zoom, Facebook, Instagram, etc., businesses can share this content directly with consumers using Mindbody software. Overall, this platform provides a more seamless, integrated video solution for boutique wellness businesses and their customers. In the near future, Mindbody will offer a live streaming solution, in addition to pre-recorded video content.

Mindbody has been working on this platform for months, and it was initially supposed to launch in August of 2020. Once the coronavirus pandemic hit, they decided to accelerate their development timeline immediately. Rick Stollmeyer, Mindbody CEO and co-founder, says, “Consumer activity across our platform indicates a tremendous appetite for virtual wellness classes and other services during this global crisis.”
