Virtual Eight Dimensions of Wellness Workshop

Prevent Child Abuse Indiana is hosting this workshop that will discuss the 8 dimensions of wellbeing, evaluate the impact of mental health, and unravel the stigma and its effects. Amy Louise Frederick, Med. will guide participants through the construction of coping strategies for dealing with mental health issues such as anxiety and depression. By learning about and raising awareness for these topics, you can aid PCAI in continuing to serve as a resource in the community!

Black Lives Matter Donation Ride

Black-owned studio Just Ride Indy is empowered to offer you an opportunity to put your money where your mouth is and donate to a social justice organization of your choosing in exchange for a cycling class taught by Shayna Sangster today from 11:15 am to 12 pm. Please send your donation receipt to info@justrideindy.com to sign up and get active knowing that your donation is going to a very prevalent and important cause. Bikes are limited!

Color Craze Run

If you had a tough week, re-energize and add some color to your weekend! Color Craze is hosting a non-competitive 3k for runners to participate in this Saturday from 12 to 15 pm. Come dressed in white, and expect to be colored head to toe in rainbow-colored powder! The fun continues after the race with music, vendors with food, photo opportunities, activity booths. Pricing varies based on what goodies you would like to receive in addition to completing the run, and all proceeds go to a great cause! Get active and do some good for your community while participating.

Healing Justice Spaces 

Haven Yoga Studio is offering this virtual gathering, Healing Justice Spaces, this Sunday from 8-9:30 pm for free, though donations are appreciated. This event is being held in order to celebrate our collective abilities to love and heal ourselves while supporting local black healers and activists in the Indy area. Through education and drawing awareness to the resources we have available, Haven proudly supports peaceful protesting and civil disobedience in the name of justice for the black community. 50% of the proceeds raised will go to the Bail Project!

Irvington Farmers Market

The Irvington Garden Club and Farmer’s Market is excited to offer you the opportunity to shop around at the Farmer’s Market this weekend, COVID-19, in a safe way. Though the market will be restricted to food and home staples only, this is a great way to support local vendors and enjoy plenty of fresh goodness! The market will take place from 12 to 3 pm in Ellenberger Park and don’t forget to bring your mask.
