Friday Flow

Come out to the White River State Park this Friday from 6 to 6:45 AM for a free outdoor yoga session in Locust Grove led by The Hot Room Yoga Studio. Kick-off your weekend with this refreshing yoga flow in the great outdoors, and don’t forget to bring your own mat! Social distancing will be actively practiced so that everyone can enjoy their practice safely. Please reserve your spot in advance so that they know how many to expect!

Broad Ripple Farmers Market

Swing by your local Farmers Market this Saturday from 8 AM to 12 PM located near Target on N Rural Street for all your favorite homegrown produce, meats and eggs, and artisanal foods and baked goods. Fill your fridge with fresh goodness for the upcoming week ahead and give back to small businesses right here in your city.

Yoga and Beer

This dynamic duo is brought to the Indy community by Kati Black Yoga and hosted by the Triton Brewing Company from 11 AM to noon. Join them for a beginner level yoga flow outside the TBC on Fort Ben, followed by a pint or non-alcoholic beverage if you are under 21. All ages and levels are welcome and encouraged to sign up in advance in order to reserve a spot. Class size is limited in order to follow social distancing guidelines.

Hanging around the Carmel area and looking to get active in a variety of different ways at once? SPENGA Studio is offering this free sampler class consisting of spin, strength, and yoga open to members and non-members from 1 to 2 PM. Instructor Bree Harbin at New Joy Lutheran Church in Westfield, IN for a free, socially distanced yoga class where all donations provided will be going straight to Prevail, and organization that provides crisis intervention and restorative support for survivors of all ages that have dealt with crime, trauma, and abuse. What better way to open your mind and heart than unrolling your mat for a good cause?! No need to reserve a spot, just show up with your mat, water bottle, and donation for Prevail. SHE Power Virtual Half Marathon and 5k

This Sunday, from 7 to 10:30 AM, join many empowered athletes of the Indy community for a virtual fun run to celebrate strong women! There are beautiful finisher medals, quality apparel and socks, a custom drawstring bag, and gorgeous long stem roses to be given away to each participant if you sign up in advance for packet pick-up or ask to be put on the mailing list. There is no better time to come together, despite the race being taken place virtually, and we encourage all to participate!
