Where to Buy Local, and Organic Turkeys in Indianapolis for Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is almost here, but it will look a bit different from years past! This year, you may not be able to see your entire family, but you can still enjoy a thanksgiving healthy feast via Zoom.

With local businesses closing daily, it’s important to support local businesses now more than ever. One of the best and tasty ways to support local businesses is to support your local farmers. This year, consider buying a local and organic turkey. Why? Not only will you support a local farmer, but the turkey will be better tasting, more environmentally friendly, and healthier.

Local poultry farmers usually have smaller operations and take better care of raising their animals by giving them plenty of outdoor space access. Many of them believe in organic practices and don’t use hormones or antibiotics. Buying local gives you the ability to talk directly to your local farmers about their farming practices, feeding, and processing program.

You still have time to buy the perfect organic turkey right here in Indianapolis. Below, find our local, organic, free-range turkey list, with the sides (if you want) in the Indianapolis area.
